I thought I had forgotten to take a photo today. But, I didn't. I forgot my camera when heading to Will's work for pizza and then the park with the younger two.

"Luckily", I snapped these two shots in the day (unplanned) with my Blackberry. I hate that thing, by the way.

This is a book Rawni got from the library this week and made me chuckle. She's so shoe obsessed.

This is handsome, giggly Robert after not taking a nap this afternoon. But, he did play quiet in his crib for a while.

I meant to use my camera to take a real shot at home, but then I was too tired when I thought of it and before I knew it, it was after midnight and I didn't even feel like scrambling to pretend I had thought of something creative. I just didn't. I was tired.

Tough call today. This was my favorite photo of the day.

Yet, this was my favorite moment of the day. Ahhhh, sweet bliss.

My husband can be pretty amazing in the kitchen. Tonight he planned ahead by looking up a new chicken recipe for the crockpot.

This was dinner. It wasn't my favorite, but the kids (all five of them) enjoyed it. I think I may blog it soon. But, we'll see!

Any guesses as to what this may be? Well, if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you already know.

It's my tooth. At least a portion of it.

Let me tell you a story.

Once upon a time my mother was eating milk dud's and she shrieked. Her tooth crumbled.

Her teeth apparently crumble to milk dud's. Well, mine had that opportunity this week, but they preferred Sugar Babies. Yup. My tooth crumbles in Sugar Babies.

Dang you Easter stash! Dang you!

I'm off to the dentist today to get it looked at. I don't have insurance, so pray for me. I've had pain in it for several days, but money is really really tight right now as taxes were due last week. This month, and probably next, will be more of a struggle than the "norm" around here.

Besides spending my day on the couch reading and relaxing (as much as you can with three kids, that is), we have a Monday night ritual:

The park. Picnic. Library. Family time.

This Monday was no different.

That's not true. This Monday I let the kids bring their sucker's from the Easter Bunny.

Neither of them finished these suckers, but it was fun while they did enjoy them.

Rawni was off playing ball with dad, and ended up not eating hers this evening (or yet). But, don't feel fooled, she's the biggest sugar sweetie of them all!

Happy Easter!

How was yours? Ours didn't start off on the right foot. I guess I should mine didn't start off on the right foot. (Up way too late. I have a cold. I had a horrid headache this morning, cramps, and I've had a toothache for the past few days that I am certain will end in a horrible dental bill and root canal as soon as we can fork it out of pocket.)

But, it ended way better than I could have expected. (Egg dye'n, fantastic dinner, family hot tub, oh yes, it was pretty awesome!)

Rawni found the most eggs by far this morning. She grabbed her school bucket and filled it up very quickly.

She even found more as the day went on... (We have a lot of eggs... I would say at least a good hundred, though I've never had patience to sit and count. My hubby usually complains about us having so much, but I don't care. It's fun!)

My husband made a variation of this recipe off of the back of the garbanzo beans can tonight. If I had thought to take a photo before we ate it all, I would have shared that.

This was soooo yummy. It was a hit by all. My kids didn't love it as much as the two I babysit, but it was still a hit. I am pretty sure if I had let them, the kids would have licked the pan clean.

We will be making our version of it soon, I am certain. Then, I will share the recipe on my list (linked above under the "Marni's Kitchen" tab).

After our overnight guests left this morning, I didn't. do. a. thing. today.

Except babysit. It wasn't on the agenda, it was a last minute thing, but we can really use the money, so I am not turning it down!

These boys were uber cute today. They played side by side happily (for the most part) and were laughing so hard together.

I didn't intend for it to be my photo of the day, it was one of those cute moments you grab the camera and go with it. I didn't get around to the idea I had for today, so this became my daily shot.

We met our friends at the park today for a picnic and then they all came back and stayed the night. It was very busy around here, but very enjoyable. Unfortunately, I think staying up til 2am with seven kids bright eyed and ready to rise at 7am was not my brightest idea. But, it was fun while it lasted. : )

I think this defines my Spring Break. There has been no "break" indeed. We have had nothing but friends and fun. I would say our house has had at least 6 kids in it more than it has not.

The highest capacity has been seven, but even the few times we had seven, they have not been the same!

This was dinner with an old friend I hadn't seen in a while. Hubs (and I, though, mostly hubs) made a nice breakfast dinner and let me catch up with a friend this evening.

Today we got an extra ticket from a friend to a "Fairy and Elf Tea Party".

Rawni enjoyed herself, and I was able to capture this shot before my very challenging one year old threw a temper tantrum and I had to step out for the remainder of the event.

Today was one of those days I waited until nightfall to decide what to take a photo of. I looked around and thought, but I was drawing a blank. I sat on the couch tired thinking, "I need to take my photo of the day, and I need to brush my teeth and floss."
