Does anyone else take a handful of photos a day but have trouble deciding on which one they want to post? I did a lot of things yesterday and was really torn over which photo to 'show off'.
I opted for this one because I want to focus on self portraits a bit this year.
Besides being horrible at deciding my "photo of the day", I can't keep secrets, either. I am entirely too honest and open. Yes, I got a perm. A few of my friends recommended Kimmi at Icon in Santa Rosa, CA. Since perms are not in style, she didn't have much experience under her belt and cut me a deal. She did awesome. It was so much fun and I am so glad that I did it.
My hair is at an awkward phase that I can't stand. It's got some natural curl and waves that are hard to iron out. But then when I straighten it, it won't stay straight or fluff's and is just too high maintenance.
This is definitely what I wanted to maintain it for a while. Once it gets a little longer the weight helps to hold the curl down, and I can wear it straight again for a while.
I was having trouble with lighting and focus. Does anyone have any tips on that? I used to be so good at self portraits, until I got my nice camera. For some reason I have a more difficult time setting it up and stepping behind it.
Does anyone have any good websites or tips on how to manage the focus and things?
Just for fun, here's an idea of the efforts we women go through to look beautiful. These things are heavy, OMG.
Don't mind the horrible quality, this one was taken with my crappy Blackberry Curve.
