40/365 February 9, 2011

Today my husband was off for the first day in several.

He decided to empty our disgusting hot tub so that we can clean it out.

While it was open, I was admiring the filth (blech) and looking over the side when I spotted eyes looking up at me.

I just about jumped back!

But the little guy seemed sweet. He only moved a little, and was a little slow. I am thinking based on his frame that he had been stuck in there a while and hadn't eaten.

Will took him out so I could snap some shots, and then was carrying him off to the front when he hopped away, so hopefully we saved him from his death, but who knows.

12/365 January 12, 2011

I am not a big fan of horses. I guess it's not horses that bother me, it's the memories that went along with them. There was always a couple of girls in my younger school days that were obsessed with them and it drove me insane, for whatever reason.

I guess since I can watch dolphins all day, and would love to one day swim with them, I can get it.

On the way to Rawni's school, I see these four horses often. It's funny though because I have wanted to stop and take a photo for a while, but never have time, or my camera on me, or I've got somewhere to be, or a crying or hungry baby.

Well, today I was short on time, but I had my camera and I just finally did it.

This dude was awesome. I fell in love with him. He's the only white one of the four. In fact, he always catches me eye. He's beautiful.

Turns out, he's sweet too. I started taking pictures and testing out my "zoom in" lens (getting real technical for you here). Anyways, he bolted towards me and just as sweet as ever just came up and watched me and checked me out. I enjoyed his company, I might even sneak back and feed him sometime. :)
