Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
I am too tired to get any creative juices flowing, so I know that today's photo opp's are over.
This is the best I've got for you today.
The leprechaun that visited William's class today left foot prints all. over. the. classroom. There were prints on the door, the wall, the drawers, the tables, the cabinets. It was a very cool site.
I have said it at least a hundred times this year, and I'll say it again. I have never felt such a cool environment. I absolutely adore the community I live in. I treasure the school district here. I admire William's teacher, the families we are surrounded with in his class and the way I feel at the end of day helping in there.
It was a good day, surrounded by good people.
Side note: Rawni and Robert both look forward to my helping in the classroom, too. They get to go to "daycare" which is provided by the school for parents like me for a portion of the period I help. After which, both kids come to class with me while I finish up whatever we are working on at the centers. Today, for the first time, Robert walked and roamed and destroyed all organized toy bins. It's a very family oriented environment and I can't imagine a better place for us.
