32/365 February 1, 2011

I am so proud of myself for completing a full month of photos! It may sound silly, but I have wanted to do this for so long and now that it's here, I am loving every minute of it!

For today's photo, I chose to share with you William's school stuff, again.

Hundred's day was today and boy was it a blast! They kept pumping it at the school, and to be honest, I was like, yeah, okay...

But now it's come and gone and I was so thrilled to be a part of it. I can't wait to do it again with my daughter next year. There are so many wonderful mom's in our class. So many of them helped today. There were loads of smiles. Mother's always help to clean up and sweep after -this just amazes me. I didn't grow up in schools like this, so each event I just sit with my jaw to the floor admiring the community I live in.

Anyways, this was a ziploc baggy that all of the school had on string and hanging on their necks. It had each of the stations listed. Each station had some theme that went along with 100. They were required to do 4, except William's teacher pushed her class to do 5.

Will ended up accomplishing 7.  Whoo hoo!

The table I helped at was way cool. It was an assembly line which started off marking their chart that they had been there, and then sanitizing their hands.  It had 10 (well 20-10 on each side) of 'snacks' that included: cheerios, skittles, kix, marshmallows, fruit loops, valentine hearts, chocolate chips, animal crackers, and gold fish.

They went to each bin and counted 10 of each in a cup. Then at the end, a parent (there were several helping at the table - say 10ish?) they would dump the cup into their ziploc bag and be on their way. This being their snack later on for the day.

I took another great photo today of my Gramma's enchilada recipe I made tonight, which I will also later share on my main blog.  Stay tuned!

Lastly, if you aren't following that blog, you should. I have cloth diaper giveaways in the works.   Thirsties will sponsor one with me as soon as I get 200 followers, and I am only 4 followers away!
